About the position
We are excited to announce an opportunity for full-time Medical Assistants at our office located at 1136 Thorn Run Extension, Moon Township, PA 15108. We are offering a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 to welcome you to our team! The work hours are Monday to Friday during daylight hours, with no weekends or holidays required. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting vital signs and patient history, collecting specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, and administering injections and medications as directed by the provider. Additionally, you will handle various administrative duties such as ordering supplies, updating and maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals and authorizations, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA)
- CPR Certification
- Computer experience
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Nice-to-haves
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
