About the position

We are currently hiring for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join the National Lutheran Communities & Services family. This role is PRN or as needed, with 12-hour shifts. The primary focus of this position is to provide essential services such as medication administration and personal care services to our residents. As a CMA, you will be responsible for delivering direct, hands-on care to residents, ensuring that they attain or maintain the highest possible levels of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to the well-being of our residents, utilizing your skills and knowledge to administer medications safely and effectively. The salary range for this position is competitive, starting at $21.00 per hour and going up to $26.50 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities

  • Provide medication administration to residents as per prescribed guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care.

Requirements

  • C.N.A. Certification is required.
  • Certification as a Medication Aide is necessary.
  • Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • A passion for serving older adults is crucial.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome.
