About the position

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications under the supervision of licensed staff, providing personal care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), housekeeping, and ensuring a quality home-like environment for residents. You will also offer support to family and visitors while maintaining professional behavior and adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with state and federal laws under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Provide personal care including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.
• Assist residents with meals and other necessary tasks to ensure quality of life.
• Support family members and visitors as needed.
• Maintain professional behavior while functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• High school graduate or minimum age of 18 years.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide/Med Level One course and obtain certification in the state of MO.
• Training at the Community to obtain Med Level One course certification.
• Must maintain active certification in good standing.
