About the position
The Certified Medication Aide at Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home is responsible for providing compassionate nursing care to residents, ensuring adherence to care plans and competency guidelines. Responsibilities
- Make rounds to monitor residents' health and well-being.
- Execute Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) tasks in accordance with competency guidelines.
- Administer medications as per care plans and regulations.

Requirements
- Valid Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Medication Aide certification.
