About the position
The position of Certified Medication Technician (CMT) offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work per diem shifts at various healthcare facilities. This role allows CMTs to take control of their careers by choosing when and where they work, providing a better work/life balance and the potential for extra income. CMTs play a crucial role in patient care, ensuring residents receive their medications and support in their recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care services including medication distribution to residents.
- Follow individualized plan of care for all residents.
- Assist in completing and maintaining current individualized care plans for each resident.
- Provide timely interventions for changes in condition and communicate these with care staff and family as instructed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid CMT license in the state of Maine.
- Ability to complete a drug test, background check, and W9 form.
