About the position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, you will play a crucial role in enabling clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include providing essential personal care assistance, which encompasses bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. You will also support clients with light housekeeping tasks, laundry services, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and running errands. Engaging clients through conversation, games, and other forms of entertainment will be an integral part of your role, ensuring they feel connected and valued. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Assist clients with grocery shopping and preparing meals or snacks.
  • Engage clients through conversation, games, and other forms of entertainment.
  • Run errands for clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Michigan with an active and in good standing certification.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance preferred.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends is required.
  • Great attendance is essential as clients depend on consistent care.
  • Exceptional patient service skills and a caring, compassionate personality.
