About the position

In this position, you will follow a care plan tailored to each member, ensuring that their personal care needs are met. This includes assisting with bathing, dressing, and other personal hygiene tasks, as well as supporting routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. You will also be responsible for transporting clients to appointments and errands, assisting them with self-administration of medications, and observing any changes in their condition to report back to the appropriate personnel. Responsibilities

  • Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
  • Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
  • Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
  • Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
  • Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
  • Observe and report any changes in member's condition

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation, required for member transportation. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
  • Comfortable using an electronic device
