About the position
The Premier OB-GYN group is seeking two Certified Midwives to join their expanding team due to continued growth and partner retirements. This position offers a collegial and collaborative environment where midwives are highly valued. The practice includes a group of OB-GYNs, advanced practice providers, and a dedicated support staff, providing comprehensive care in a well-equipped facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients in a collaborative environment.
- Participate in group call rotation, providing support to the physician partners and OB inpatient team.
- Assist in labor and delivery, utilizing dedicated operating rooms and emergency department resources on the labor and delivery floor.
- Work closely with the Level III NICU and Mother/Baby units to ensure high-quality care for mothers and infants.
Requirements
- Certification as a Midwife is required.
- Experience in an OB-GYN setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Level III NICU care is a plus.
- Familiarity with community health resources and support services.
