About the position

St. Luke's Health System in Idaho is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to manage women's health care, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum care, and general reproductive and gynecological needs. The CNM will work collaboratively within a team, providing consultation, education, and research while adhering to established standards. This role includes both clinical and on-call responsibilities, ensuring comprehensive care for women in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage women's health care focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum care.
  • Address general reproductive and gynecological needs of well women.
  • Prescribe and dispense pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic agents as authorized.
  • Engage in consultation and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding women's health issues.
  • Participate in research activities related to midwifery and women's health.

Requirements

  • Licensed professional nurse with a graduate degree from a nationally accredited nurse midwifery program.
  • Certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife recognized by the Idaho Board of Nursing.
  • Current RN, APRN, and controlled substance licensure from Idaho.
  • Current, unrestricted DEA certificate.
