Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living.
  • Take and record vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify patient needs and risks.
  • Engage patients in activities that promote health and morale.

Requirements

  • Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and on the State of Maine Registry.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and complete forms.
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain courteous relationships with patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
