About the position
Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Avon is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The CNA assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in daily life activities as per the resident service plan.
- Provide personal care to residents.
- Manage food service and housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with laundry and behavior management.
- Encourage socialization and participation in activities.
- Provide orientation and information to residents and families.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to speak English understandably.
- Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly.
- Previous dementia experience preferred.
- Certification required according to state regulations.
- Must complete required training.
