About the position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Life Care Center of Athens involves providing essential daily nursing care to patients as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
- Deliver direct care activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate effectively and function productively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with the requirement to maintain current certification.
