About the position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Medical Surgical team. The role involves providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed RN, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients, and may require floating to different units as needed. The position offers relocation assistance and housing for 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed RN.
- Support and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Learn specific skills necessary for patient care depending on the assigned unit.
- Complete initial advanced skills training checklists and advance to CNA II level within 6 months.
Requirements
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Current State of Alaska Certified Nurse Assistant License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) training within 90 days of hire.
- Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) training within 90 days of hire.
Nice-to-haves
