We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following counties: Buncombe, Haywood, and Henderson in BAYADA's Assistive Care Division. In this role, following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with various activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and feeding. You will also assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, medication reminders, and vital sign checks such as temperature, pulse, and respiration. What makes you a great candidate? We are looking for individuals who have at least one year of work experience, have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course, and are certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others is essential. You should also possess empathy, patience, kindness, and respect, along with the ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
