About the position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Liberty Health is responsible for providing essential care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This full-time position involves assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting nursing staff in delivering quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed during the shift.
  • Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
  • Complete patient care records at the end of the shift, including accurate intake and output (I and O) documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the charge nurse.
  • Assist the charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
  • Willingness to care for geriatric patients and a genuine concern for their welfare.
  • Ability to receive, understand, and follow orders.
  • Attendance at in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
