About the position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Rochester Regional Health is responsible for providing high-quality, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. This role is critical in ensuring patient comfort and safety while assisting with daily activities and maintaining a supportive environment for residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and/or assist residents in activities as per individualized care planning.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Perform evaluations and reporting on resident conditions.
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe resident environment.
• Support families and direct them to appropriate professional staff.
• Respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
• Receive and give reports to team members and team leaders.

Requirements

• Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Compassionate, warm, and patient-focused demeanor.
• Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
