About the position
The position combines the responsibilities of a Unit Clerk and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at AdventHealth Wauchula. Responsibilities
- Assists in patient/family care using established techniques with the multidisciplinary team.
- Documents personal care, intake and output, vital signs, and weights as outlined in policy.
- Performs patient care as delegated following hospital policies.
- Prepares and maintains patient medical records from admission through discharge to ensure organization, completeness, and accuracy.
- Receives and processes physician orders to assist medical/nursing staff in providing timely care to all patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Florida C.N.A. License or Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing (transcript) upon hire.
- BLS certification is a condition of employment.
- CPI certification prior to or within 6 months of employment (for Emergency Department and Behavioral Health Unit).
