As a Labor Compliance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and submitting weekly certified payroll reports for self-performed work, monitoring and tracking subcontractors' certified payroll reports, and maintaining a thorough understanding of prevailing wages, union crafts, and fringe benefits. You will also be responsible for communicating with the California Department of Industrial Relations (CA DIR) and other agencies to ensure compliance, assisting subcontractors with corrective actions for any non-compliance issues, and staying current with Master Labor Agreements and rates. In addition to these essential functions, you will review various compliance documents for accuracy, including DAS 140, DAS 142, certified payroll registers, statements of compliance, and fringe benefit statements. The role also requires you to provide backup support to the administrative assistant, manage filing and record-keeping, and demonstrate effective communication, time management, and multitasking abilities. Punctuality, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
