About the position

Responsibilities
- Advocate for individuals starting or continuing their recovery journey.
- Encourage clients to remain engaged with their treatment plans.
- Model techniques to overcome temptation and challenges in recovery.
- Demonstrate the benefits of being a patient of a primary care physician, psychiatrist, and social services support team.
Requirements
- Certified Peer Support Specialist certification is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- At least one year of successful recovery from mental illness and/or substance abuse.
