About the position

The Certified Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist in their daily operations. This position involves direct interaction with healthcare providers and requires the technician to perform various tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist with daily functions.
• Receive and respond to phone calls and inquiries from healthcare providers.
• Prepare, distribute, deliver, and package pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards in pharmaceutical care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician from the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Previous employment in a hospital-related position is preferred.
