About the position
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in Plainfield, Indiana. This specialized pharmacy focuses on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail locations, utilizing advanced automation to ensure fast and accurate service. Although not directly patient-facing, our role supports retail pharmacies in providing essential clinical services and education to the community. Responsibilities
- Maintain pharmacy systems and technology, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and expiration dates for pharmaceuticals, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Support facility reporting and paperwork to ensure productivity and pharmaceutical integrity.
- Assist in the prescription fulfillment process and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure accurate fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions in a fast-paced production environment.
- Utilize automated inventory control systems to track and manage pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Requirements
- Must meet state requirements to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, including age and licensure.
- Hold an active/valid Pharmacy Technician license by the State of Indiana.
- Possess an active/valid national certification from PTCB or NHA (ExCPT).
