The Certified Pilates Instructor position at 15 to Fit Method™ Pilates is a full-time role focused on delivering high-quality Pilates instruction in a supportive and dynamic environment. The instructor will conduct sessions for individuals and small groups, develop personalized programs, and maintain a positive atmosphere that motivates clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct beginner to advanced Pilates sessions for individuals and groups up to 6 participants using Pilates equipment and suspension training methods.
- Develop personalized Pilates programs that meet individual client goals and promote health and wellness.
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and supportive atmosphere that motivates and challenges clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform client assessments to track progress, provide feedback, and adjust programs as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the quality and variety of Pilates programs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in Pilates and fitness to ensure innovative and effective session delivery.
- Manage Pilates equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and certification in the Pilates field, including the 15 to Fit Method™ Pilates.
Requirements
- Highly developed written and face-to-face verbal communication skills.
- People skills and personality.
- High School Diploma.
- At least one (1) Fitness Course or Certification.
- At least one year or more of fitness or dance teaching experience.
- Passion for health and fitness, with dedicated attention to personal and professional integrity.
- Basic proficiency in using technology for scheduling and communication purposes.
Nice-to-haves
- Health and fitness education.
- Kinesiology or Exercise Science degree.
