The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as financial liaison between the CEO, Corporate Board of Directors, funding sources and financial institutions. The CFO manages the financial resources for the organization including accounting, finance, organizational budgets, investments, and treasury in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The CFO provides oversight of funding, contracts, policies/procedures, and safeguards assets through the maintenance of proper internal controls. The CFO will possess a strong background in overall financial management and strategic fiscal leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as financial liaison between the CEO, Corporate Board of Directors, funding sources, and financial institutions.
  • Manage the financial resources for the organization including accounting, finance, organizational budgets, investments, and treasury.
  • Provide oversight of funding, contracts, policies/procedures, and safeguard assets through the maintenance of proper internal controls.
  • Conduct audits and manage budgeting processes.
  • Oversee cash flow and management, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
  • Handle cost allocations and internal controls.
  • Manage accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Monthly Close General Ledger.
  • Supervise the Controller, Director of Fiscal Management, and respective Accounting/Payroll Departments.
  • Manage applicable tax reporting.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 10 years of progressive experience
  • Experience in Managed Care, non-profit/cost accounting, and federal funding is preferred.
