Responsibilities

• Completes and/or oversees month-end close processes for assigned clients.
• Provides general QuickBooks and accounting consulting to clients.
• Communicates with clients to request information and respond to questions timely and professionally.
• Provides excellent client service.
• Completes tax returns, IRS representation, and tax planning services for clients.

Requirements

• Associates in Accounting.
• CPA or EA designation required.
• 3 years of experience as a CPA or Enrolled Agent.
• 4 years of tax experience required.
• Ability to critically examine financial reports/statements.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Ability to articulate and communicate in both written and verbal forms.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and function in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong time management skills.
