About the position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team at Capstone Certified Public Accountants, LLC in Boise, ID. This role involves providing comprehensive financial and tax planning services to both business and personal clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, particularly in tax preparation and strategy development, and will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of current federal and state tax laws to provide tax outcomes for clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns for business, fiduciary, and individual tax clients.
• Develop tax strategies tailored to client needs.
• Meet regularly with new and existing clients to discuss their financial needs.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and expand business opportunities.

Requirements

• Current CPA License
• Minimum of 5 years of tax experience
• Experience in public accounting and preparing tax returns
• Strong understanding of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Chart of Accounts for both profit and non-profit organizations
• Ability to work directly with clients and staff
• Self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
