Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with accuracy.
• Analyze financial information and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and offer strategic tax planning advice.
• Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
• Develop a strong working relationship with partners and become an active contributor to the overall client development and growth of the practice.
• Create and review accurate financial statements and reports to keep our clients' finances in top shape.
• Handle tax planning and preparation, ensuring our clients maximize their tax benefits and stay compliant with regulations.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to help clients make informed decisions and plan for their future.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License is essential.
• Minimum five years previous experience in accounting, tax preparation, and payroll compliance is a must.
• Familiarity with accounting/tax software and a solid understanding of financial regulations is required.
• Attention to detail and precision in delivering accurate and thorough work is crucial.
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to clients in an understandable way is necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Knowledge of financial concepts and general ledger accounting is a plus.
