About the position

If you're looking for an opportunity with huge potential, this is it! A small public accounting firm located in the east end of Louisville is looking for an energetic, professional, and highly motivated CPA to join our tax department during tax season. Ideal candidates will have 4 years of experience with corporate, trust, and individual tax returns. The ability to research and resolve complex issues is a must. You will have routine client contact and will be expected to assume full responsibility of an engagement from start to finish and use experience and judgment to appropriately resolve difficulties that may arise during the course of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate, trust, and individual tax returns.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Maintain routine client contact and manage client relationships.
• Assume full responsibility for engagements from start to finish.
• Utilize experience and judgment to resolve difficulties during engagements.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in GAAP accounting.
• 3 years of experience in tax accounting.
• CPA license is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Client-focused approach.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
