As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you will have a good understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations applicable to business and individual clients. You will work closely with teammates and clients regarding tax, accounting, and other business matters, ensuring that you maintain a collaborative and dynamic team environment. This role also involves identifying opportunities for personal growth and overall firm process improvements, as well as communicating new service opportunities to the management team for both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations applicable to business and individual clients.
• Work closely with teammates and clients regarding tax, accounting and other business matters.
• Work well in a dynamic collaborative team environment.
• Identify opportunities for personal growth and overall firm process improvements.
• Identify and communicate new service opportunities to the management team for new and existing clients.

Requirements

• Current CPA license required.
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, including 1 year with supervisory responsibilities.
• Prior experience with Thomson Reuters software, QuickBooks and/or Sage a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GAAP preferred.
