We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The CPA will work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and securities law regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of corporate finance reports and documentation.
• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes using PeopleSoft.
• Manage payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Provide guidance on LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance matters.
• Write detailed financial reports that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial services, with a focus on corporate finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, securities law, and financial report writing.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong ethical foundation.
