About the position

We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to mentor junior staff members.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial statements preparation and analysis
• Conduct account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
• Provide expertise in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Perform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Utilize technical accounting knowledge to address complex financial issues
• Mentor junior staff members on accounting best practices

Requirements

• Proficient in debits and credits principles
• Demonstrated financial acumen and account analysis skills
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience with accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Quicken, or Xero
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and budgeting tasks efficiently
