The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at wHydrate Group will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; prepare and file tax returns.
• Conduct financial audits and identify areas for process improvement.
• Provide strategic financial advice to leadership to support decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.

Requirements

• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multi-entity business.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax codes.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
