About the position

The Certified Radiology Technologist (RAD Tech) position involves performing diagnostic radiography procedures, operating and maintaining radiographic equipment, and providing care to patients of various ages. The role requires effective communication skills to explain procedures to patients and their families, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using appropriate techniques.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment effectively.
  • Assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to patients and/or parents.
  • Prioritize assignments and manage time efficiently.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field, preferred.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program in cardiovascular or radiologic technology.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Current ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI credentials in the required specialty.

Nice-to-haves

  • One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional.
