Responsibilities
- Provide support services for individuals struggling with mental illness and substance abuse.
- Work with clients to develop personalized recovery plans.
- Facilitate peer support groups to promote recovery.
- Coordinate care and provide transportation services for clients.
- Engage with clients in both community and clinic settings.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-P certification.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- Lived experience in recovery from substance use disorder.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet all OASAS requirements regarding background check clearance.
