Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor general and regional anesthetics to patients.
• Work under the direction and supervision of staff anesthesiologists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist school.
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
• Active Wisconsin State Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) license (if applicable).
• National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification is required.
• Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
