About the position

This position is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who will provide locum tenens support in a hospital setting. The CRNA will work a Monday through Friday schedule, with shift times varying throughout the week. The types of cases the CRNA will handle include General, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Endoscopy, and Plastics. It is important to note that there will be no involvement in Obstetrics, Vascular, Neurology, or Cardiac cases. The facility utilizes the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, and the credentialing process is expected to take over 30 days. This role is critical in ensuring that patients receive high-quality anesthesia care during their surgical procedures, and the CRNA will be expected to work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed.

Requirements

• Board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Experience in administering anesthesia in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
