About the position
The Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor position at Vail Resorts offers an exciting opportunity to teach skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages in a beautiful mountain setting. Instructors will provide quality instruction while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. This role is ideal for those passionate about the outdoors and looking to connect with a diverse group of guests and teammates.
Responsibilities
- Teach group and private lessons
- Work with guests of all ages and abilities
- Deliver world class guest service to all guests
- Create a safe and fun learning environment
- Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
- Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or equivalent and above
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Must be willing to work weekends/holidays
- Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
