About the position
The Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor position at Vail Resorts offers an exciting opportunity to teach skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages in a dynamic mountain environment. Instructors will provide quality instruction while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the outdoors and looking to build connections with guests and teammates from around the world.
Responsibilities
- Teach group and private lessons
- Work with guests of all ages and abilities
- Deliver world class guest service to all guests
- Create a safe and fun learning environment
- Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
- Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience required
- Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or equivalent and above
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Must be willing to work weekends/holidays
- Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
