About the position

The Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor position at Vail Resorts offers an exciting opportunity to teach skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages in a beautiful mountain setting. Instructors will provide quality instruction while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the outdoors and looking to connect with a diverse group of guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience required
• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or equivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.
