Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular imaging.
- Ensure that all sonographic images meet the established quality standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide effective patient care and communicate findings clearly.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures, findings, and any relevant patient information.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety during examinations.
- Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in sonography.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
