About The Position

Provides direct, basic patient care activities under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or NCCT; or has completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• On-call availability weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Hospital Operating Room scrub experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull.
