About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is ideal for individuals with an active PTIN and unrestricted credentials such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney. As a Tax Expert, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely, collaborating with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. This includes providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. You will be expected to utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers to customers in a clear and understandable manner. This role emphasizes customer interaction through video and audio tools, requiring excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. You will also be responsible for documenting customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves
