About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season, offering a unique opportunity to work 100% remotely while collaborating with an exceptional team. This position is ideal for individuals with an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and unrestricted credentials such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their tax preparation needs, ensuring they navigate the complexities of taxation with ease and confidence. You will be responsible for providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, and managing product inquiries, all while utilizing Intuit's TurboTax products. Your expertise will help empower clients to prepare their taxes effectively, contributing to Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Interact with customers through state-of-the-art video communication software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
