About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts to assist customers with their tax preparation during the upcoming tax season. This role allows for 100% remote work, providing an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team while helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation. Tax Experts will utilize their expertise in tax laws and commercial tax preparation software to deliver exceptional service and support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
