About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position is designed for individuals with a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation. As a Tax Expert, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely, collaborating with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. You will be responsible for assisting customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, utilizing commercial tax preparation software. You will be expected to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner, ensuring a delightful customer experience. Additionally, you will document interactions to maintain accurate records and utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver the right answers to customers using everyday language.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.

• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate information.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
