About the position
Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This part-time position allows you to work 100% remotely, providing tax preparation services to clients while collaborating with a dedicated team. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of paid experience in tax preparation, focusing on individual tax returns, and necessitates an active PTIN and unrestricted credential such as CPA or EA.
Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney).
- Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills.
