About the position
Intuit is seeking experienced Tax Experts to assist clients during the upcoming tax season. This role involves providing tax advice, preparing tax returns, and utilizing TurboTax products to help customers navigate their tax obligations. The position is fully remote, allowing for collaboration with a dedicated team from home or any office environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience.
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers through video and audio tools.
- Willingness to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
