- Implement treatment plans to restore or rehabilitate residents, improving their functioning and independence.
- Provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals.
- Oversee paraprofessional and technical personnel, students, and volunteers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Successful completion of the exam through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
- Authorization to use the initials CTRS.
