About the position
VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join the Emergency /CC Team at our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency/specialty referral practice located in beautiful Loveland, Colorado. We are a well established and growing, AAHA accredited, 24-7 emergency and specialty referral hospital serving the front range of the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Loveland, Colorado since 2000. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality medicine, meticulous patient care, and compassionate, client-centered customer service at all times - day and night. VSNC is an attractive, modern facility overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, advanced patient monitoring equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, on-site CT scanner, rehabilitation services, and on-site MRI. As a hospital we are very interested in taking necessary steps to continue our growth. Responsibilities
- Care and triaging of emergent and critical cases
- Administering treatments
- Anesthesia/sedation client communication
- Performing radiographs
- Conducting CPR
Requirements
- Certified Veterinary Technician
- Experience in emergency and critical care
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of advanced patient monitoring equipment
- Familiarity with digital radiography and ultrasound
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment
