About the position

Hawthorne Park Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice. The role involves providing veterinary care primarily for canines and felines, with a focus on medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation services such as laser therapy and hydrotherapy. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and interpersonal skills to effectively support our veterinary team and ensure high-quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care for canine and feline patients.
• Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures.
• Perform rehabilitation therapies including laser therapy and hydrotherapy.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate pet owners on health care and treatment options.

Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification (Required).
• 1 year of veterinary experience (Preferred).
• 1 year of veterinary technician experience (Preferred).
• Associate degree in veterinary technology (Preferred).
