About the position
Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group, is currently seeking a Certified Welder for the Miami SR 836/I-395, Signature Bridge DB JV, in Miami, Florida. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products using various welding equipment, cutters, and shapers. This position is crucial in ensuring that the metal components meet the required specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operates welding equipment to assemble or repair various pieces of equipment or parts according to specifications.
- Evaluates the quality of the final welded product through examination procedures.
- Performs routine maintenance on welding equipment, including oiling and greasing as necessary.
- Completes other related duties as required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of verifiable welding experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Strong compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
